Has anyone that is allergic to aspergillus used pulmicort as a routine med for inflammation? I have heard that by using pulmicort it promotes mold growth in the lungs. I am just wondering what others have experienced using this for longterm maintaince of inflammation.
I was told by my doctor that Symbicort (which is pulmicort and another inhaler combined) helps with reducing inflammation, and actually helps with Aspergillus instead of making it worse. I think any kind of steroid that prevents inflammation would be good for aspergillus.
