I sent her a message on the Nike Game Changers website too.

Thanks for letting me know Carey! Tell her she is an inspiration to many (especially me and those with CF). I have been to several marathons (to watch, not to compete) but that is my goal one day and I can't wait to do it! I will do the 1/2 though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I have also known Dottie for many years...but haven't spoken in quite a long time. Last I saw her her son was about 6 months and I believe he would be about 4 or 5 now. Her personal website is not working right now...maybe she does not have it anymore. I will try it again later and see if it works.

She is an absolute inspiration and wonderful person! I remember when she got her tx, we have the same doctor and used to run a relay in the Boston marathon together, back when it was ok (I was around 10).
