I don't know how many of you are planning to apply for this or if you've even heard about it before now, but I wanted to let you know about this excellent opportunity.

Here's some info about it:

The Cystic Fibrosis Achievers' Award program is designed specifically for persons with CF. Each year, 16 individuals with CF are recognized for outstanding achievements in the areas of leadership, sports, creativity and education. The top four applicants in each category receive a cash award of $500. The program is sponsored by Solvay Pharma Inc. (the makers of Creon).

Each year, the Cystic Fibrosis Achievers' Awards program recognizes the accomplishments of people living with cystic fibrosis. Everyone with cystic fibrosis is welcome to enter. The winners in the past have ranged in age from 6 to 48 years old.

Please note that although there is no age restriction, only Canadian residents are eligible for the award.

Completed submissions must be postmarked no later than August 24, 2007.

Awards are handed out early the following year.
