Aztreonam expanded access

My hospital finally approved the expanded access!!! I had gotten a few calls from them updating me on the process in the last few weeks, and then last night they called and said they had the consent form for me to sign at my clinic appointment today! So I signed the consent and got the blood tests done. They should have the drug all ready for me next week, so bummer, I have to go in again (but only to get the meds).

Please not...This portion of the study is for previous study participants (aztreonam study, obv) and people awaiting lung tx's. I dont know if this means the drug will be available sooner than expected. I did not get to speak with the study doctor or nurse, but last I heard it will be ready summer of 08.
