Hey gguys i was jst wondering, can cf women have children, i really need to knw it's bothering me alot! Please help! shauna 17w/cf

It all depends on how healthy you are. Many CF women have children, and some cannot due to health problems with their CF. If you're wondering about fertility - CF women can get pregnant, but 95-98% of CF males cannot have kids naturally. My guy and I are actually starting to go through the testing to find out if we can have kids. We have an appt on the 17th of May to see a genetisist to find out if my boyfriend is a carrier of the CF gene. If he isn't, then the next step is for me to see a fertility doctor about starting to get pregnant.

Anyone else a little aprehensive to start a blog because it will make you get closer to everyone? I have a fear of someone I get close to dieing from CF. I know it's the way it is and it doesn't keep me away from this site so I should just get over it.

You know, I keep meaning to start that. I have another blog that I work on, so its not like I'm not into blogs or anything. I think that I'm going to take a look and post something tonight.
