Well, we got back yesterday from going pretty much across country, flew by plane to CA then drove in an RV for 9 days with hubby son and daughter with CF.  It was amazing!!!!!!  I feel so lucky we were able to do this vacation; I can't really express it in words; but you all understand.  We never even skipped a treatment.<div><br></div><div>We swam with dolphins, my kids rode horses, swam in the Pacific ocean, went whitewater rafting, My hubby and I went wine tasting in Napa(MIL watched the kids that day).  We went to Yosemite national park.  The list goes on and on.  </div><div><br></div><div>Nature and camping/hiking are a huge love for my husband and I and we never thought our daughter with CF would be able to really participate because of lack of electricity; among other things including a window of good health; be WE DID IT.</div><div><br></div><div>So much happened I want to write it down; but I need to get my thoughts in order.  If anyone ever has questions about such the involved travel as Rv ing with a CF child I will love to answer your questions.  </div><div><br></div><div>Sigh now back to the real world!</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

Just a tip - you can get a power inverter that will plug into a car cigarette lighter (it's pretty cheap - $20-30 at wal-mart). You can plug the neb and/or Vest into that and use it to go camping, hiking, etc. That's how my husband and I get around the electricity problem when we do things like that! (It's also useful for long road trips, when I want to neb as we go.)
