Things to do to cheer up: cuddle on couch with my cats; Read a good book ; play Jewel Quest on the computer (warning - very addicting); eat circus peanuts and maple nut goodies, and watching The Doctors at 2 pm everyday while doing my IVs abx.</end quote></div>

I am addicted to circus peanuts!! They are amazing! Good on!

I like this thread, too. What cheers me up often is to try and cheer someone else up. I have one friend in particular who is a great pal but tends to be negative. Maybe it is weird but I am gratified when I can tell she hangs up feeling better than when she called.

Getting lost in a good book, playing with the dog, finding an old movie on TV that i'd forgotten about or eating chocolate (which helps everything!)

Lastly, I find singing hymns aloud extremely uplifting. I've got my own hymnal just for this purpose. You should hear me (or maybe not) when I'm using the vest! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
