BCMH..anyone familiar?

I am trying to get on BCMH so I can drop Medicare. Is anyone familiar with BCMH I know they will cover CF even into adulthood but was wondering if any of you have any personal experience to let me know what to expect. I don't know exactly 'what' they cover.

Should I drop my Medicare (nightmare, pulling my hair out, hate every step of it!). Or should I keep it just to have one more 'net' under me to cover additional expenses.

Does anyone have this coverage? If you do, would you please let me know about it. I have looked things up and met with the medical nurse at the local health department but still need to know the ins & outs of everything.

Any advice would be helpful.

My son Austin has BCMH and is on Medicaid. He is 6 years old though. But Don't quote me on this I thought it was until 19 years of age only. But I'm not sure.

We used to have it for my son when he was a baby for a few months, and it was a nice extra coverage. Not sure you would want to drop your Medicare and just go with that though (it doesn't cover everything, just specifically cf related things). After you hit reply, hit the http button (above) and a space will pop up that has http: (or something similar) in it, you then copy/paste the link there, then I believe you hit enter & then there will be another box pop up that says "LINK" and that is where you override the word "LINK" with a description of the link you're sharing.
