<P>Jasey had her f/u appt with the colorectal surgeon yesterday. She is doing good, but still requires 2.5 squares of ex-lax plus citrucel fiber daily to have a bm. </P>
<P>I was prepared to tell him what the cf specialist said and instead he tells me! He said that he met with the cf doc earlier in the week and because of Jasey they are now working together. Our surgeon ( Dr. Levitt) will provide colon tissue for Dr. Clancy (cf dr). He said the cf gene is not functioning right in her colon and could be the cause of her redundant, looped colon. My daughter has now started a new relationship and program at Cincinnati childrens. Dr. Levitt said she has been the topic of many conferences lately! I just thought this is interesting, just wanted to share.</P>
