I started zithromax last year for inflammation. I dont know how much of the antibiotic portion of it helps me since I have been on a whole new reginment since starting it so I dont know what med is doing more than the other or if its the combo.

You probably saw my answer in the Anti-inflammatory post, but i'll give it again just in case............ I have been using biaxin for the past few years in place of Zithromax. I never really felt that the Zithromax did anything for me, but the Biaxin did. My doctor told me they are in the same family of antibiotic and have the same anti-inflammatory properties.... Only difference is, i take the Biaxin twice a day every day where you only take the Zithromax every other day.
