Big thanks to all the caretakers out there

I just have to give a public and VERY heartfelt thanks to all the caretakers/supporters out there who make this disease more liveable. I have had a viral/CF infection combo for the past couple of days and just had a lovely visit from a friend who risked a possibly contagious virus, midtown Manhattan traffic, and the very cold NY winter weather to come all the way downtown and bring me a cup of soup. Seriously, with all the time some of us CFers spend ill (esp. during the winter) it is so unbelievable to know that there are people out there still willing to put their own healthy lives on hold for a few hours to visit the hospital, drop in on a homebound friend, or come by with a warm meal. I am so lucky to have such kindness and love in my life! To everyone out there who supports a friend/sibling/child/spouse/loved one with CF - please know that we're all so thankful, even when we're too sick to show it as well as we should.
