Biopsy update

Well went to the hospital today to check my pft's and again they were down so my dr ordered an emergency bronch...

Went into surgery, and was put under, but apparently I didn't cope under the anesthetic too well, I was fighting with the tube and trying to pull it out, as well as coughing a lot, and each time they tried to give me more sedative I got worse LOL

They tried for a while but apparently things were getting dangerous as I was distressed and my sats dropped....so they pulled me out

So I am rescheduled for another bronch on Monday with an anethatist to try and get me under more but keep me safe....

Never had this type of reaction before... Weird

My dr commented on how incredibly strong I was LOL

Kinda funny being unconscious and trying to pull the tubes out LOL

I'm sorry to hear that. That you have to have it done all over again! Of course it's just a pain that you have to have it done again but it would be much better if you would know the results soon. It's so scary, not knowing what's going on.

I really hope it's nothing serious, really hope the biopsie won't show rejection.

Thinking of you!!! When will your other bronch be? (as I will be thinking of you even more around then).

The new bronch is scheduled for monday at 1pm... Sucks fasting in this heat, ended up getting pretty dehydrated today, but hopefully monday will be cooler and it will go ahead without any problems!

Sorry it didn't go well. It's funny how sometimes people react to anesthetics or other medications, especially when you can't even remember what happened! At least they'll be able to try again on Monday. Keep us updated.
