Birthday posts

Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of going to the off-topics section, only to have to wade thru all the birthdays just to get to the joke or whatever was posted??? Is there anything we can do, like create a special birthday site? This was forewarned that we would have this problem--we have almost 4700 people here now!

I would like to suggest another category, maybe titled "In Celebration of Birthdays". Every birthday that occurrs is an achievement--another victory over CF, so it should be acknowledged. So I think it is important enough, and has enough birthdays to warrant it's own catagory.

It's just taking over the off-topic site. I don't even want to post there anymore! I think that the site is hardly visited as it is, and this makes it even more likely to not get visited. I like the off-topic, and it is getting smothered by the birthdays.
