Bleeder

I feel ya. Stress increases blood pressure in your vessels which can make them bleed easier. It's that simple. Also, if you're sick and lying down, the blood in your body pools a little more in chest than it would if you were standing up. Boom - hemoptysis. All I can suggest is vitamin K and talking to your doc about an antibiotic.

Thank you all for your well wishes. As always, my best allies in crisis.

Glad to know stress is a factor in the bleeds... I am pretty sure that's what's going on here.

I HAVE A CLINIC APPT. set for Weds., so I will most certainly keep everyone posted what they say or suggest with all my new "issues". LOL.

I'm also thinking with all that's going on, unless my PFTs have taken a serious nose-dive, I may wait and see how I FEEL once I start taking back my life, versus going on IV meds (those are the only ones that work for me anymore). I would hate to go on IV meds for a viral thing or cause my body was trying to fight stress and then not see a marked improvement (talk about making me even MORE stressed out! LOL) I think right now I need to just listen to my body before doing anything "drastic"...

I've done IV meds before when it was just asthma acting up and the dread and depression that sets in when I was not seeing more than a 2% increase in FEV1 after 2 weeks was a lot for me to take mentally and emotionally. I have some severe anxiety issues. Finally, we just stopped the meds cause they figured it was asthma related since I didn't FEEL very sick. But, other than stopping my productive cough, I felt exactly the same when I got done with meds as I did when I went in. I don't know if right now I could accept that, putting my body and mind through that only to come out on the other side feeling the same and having the same symptoms attributed to stress. Can you imagine how often I'd be on here posting then?!?! LOL!!!

Anyway, I will keep everyone posted, but again thank you soooo much for all your thoughts, suggestions, and prayers. You are all so wonderful.....
