Bloating

I've been having a terrible time with bloating, especially after I eat anything. I take 2 Creon before eating, but I get this bloating in my diaphragm area so that I am so uncomfortable and SOB. I've tried to tie it to certain foods, but it doesn't seem to matter whether it's sugar, or vegetables or soup...I'm going to get an appt with my GI again, plus I return to the CF clinic at Vanderbilt on Dec 5.

In the meanwhile, I was wondering if any of you experience this problem. Any advice?

I have no advice to offer but I get it all the time! I was nervous about eating Thanksgiving because I get it so bad. And it doesn't matter what it is for me either. If I eat more than a few bites I am a bloated mess!!!! And then I need to lay around until I have digested enough to breathe again

I get this too and I hate it when it happens!

I usually try GasX or some of the OTC products designed to relieve gas/bloating.

If you do get some feed back or suggestions from your GI that you think would benefit all of us, please let us know!

I used to get that problem a lot before I started on Prilosec. Could your problem be acid? If you are not already on prilosec, I would suggest trying it. Once I started it, I felt and have felt ten times better. If I skip a prilosec, I can def tell.

Good luck
