It's amazes me what our bodies can withstand before it just says to hell with it. Such a power struggle between mind and body. You are one strong girl for sure!
Sorry though, I just couldn't look at your chest tube pix. I can so relate, having had 2 tubes myself and the necessary evil-but-wonderful-main-line-me Dilaudid to bear <i>THAT</i> pain for 5 weeks. Arrggg, it is so physically painful and hard going through the withdrawls.
So glad you are now better and at home.
