Blood glucose levels

My 5 year old son's blood glucose levels six moths ago come back at 156 (70-110) and were just re-taken 6months later yesterday. The results came back at 187 (70-110) I sent an email into his pulmo, but just curious if you guys think this is alarming at all.Thanks in advance.

And yes, he does have cystic fibrosis (DF508)

Was this a fasting glucose? If so, then yes, this is very concerning. If he'd eaten- this may be of limited value from an interpretive standpoint. At the least, he needs a 2hr oral glucose tolerance test. I hope you hear back very soon!
