Breastfeeding and TOBI

Hello,

I've spoken with multiple doctors and pharmacists and have gotten VERY conflicting answers. I'm wondering if anyone has any personal experience or info on whether or not it's okay to continue breastfeeding my baby while using TOBI... I've been told "yes" "no" and everything in between, but haven't been able to find an answer I'm comfortable with.

I used inhaled Tobi and breastfed both of my daughters. A very, very small amount of Tobi actually makes it into your bloodstream. Even less makes it into your breast milk. Tobi is not broken down by the gut (which is why there is no pill form of Tobrmician, only IV) so your baby does not digest the medicine. It is fine to breastfeed and use Tobi!
