Breathing technique

My boyfriend started doing autogenic drenage too, this winter. I think it works better that clapping. He is able to get the mucus out better with it. We are trying to get a vest (it´s not cover by inssurance here in spain), so I don´t know which one works better, but I guess you could use both.
I don´t think it´s too difficult to learn, it took him one week 1hour/day with a chest therapist. They gave him a device called coach 2 to help him breath correctly at the beginning, but you can do it whithout anything. This method is used a lot here in spain.

that works really well for me what I found works best is if I do that though it's a bit different where I (take in breathe, hold until I need air not just a few seconds, repeat until a cough is just automatic and involuntary and comes out hard and forceful). What works best for me is to huff to get up anything I can, then do that, and repeat the cycle. I try to remember to do it whenever I am driving for a bit.

hbollotte-where do you work that you can do this? I just ask because when I do this its not at all subtle and I was concerned you might not be doing it compeltely right if you can do it with a room full of people around and they arent worried your about to pass out!
