When my son was diagnosed 30 years ago, his Dr. told us there was no such thing as a stupid question when it came to cf.

I know I am being stupid though when it comes to onions. My son had cepacia for many years and to this day I will keep not keep onions in the house. My son has been gone for 3 years now and even though we eat onions they aren't allowed inside the house until it's time for them to be eaten. This is one habit I just can't let go of.

I don't think you're stupid. We are currently building a shed, and I am excited because the onions can go in there when it is done. I love onions, it's strange to have eaten and enjoyed something for so long and suddenly be afraid of them.
