c.f. and hypoglycemia

Hi,

I don't know what to do about this, so if anyone has suggestions, I would really appreciate hearing them. I have mild c.f. and find that 1-2 hours after I eat, I become hypoglycemic. It is impossible for me to sleep through the night. It is especially bad around 6-8 am. I am eating all the time, but it doesn't seem to help. I have had problems with my pancreas in the past - twice I developed pancreatitis. I took a glucose tolerance test last week. My blood sugar was normal before the drink, and went down to 45 after an hour. This morning I took a reading: it was 81 when I got up at 6:45 am. Then I ate a snack and had some juice. At 8:15 am I checked again, and my blood sugar was at 65.

Thanks so much for your time and thoughts.

Make sure you have a decent snack before going to bed that will sustain you all night. A peanut butter sandwich or a bowl of cereal works really well.
