Can someone answer a question for me please

I just met this girl about 8 months ago. She went to the hospital, which seems to be occuring more often now.
She is 25(almost 26) has about 18% of lung capacity last time checked.
I just found out she has been admitted to ICU and is on a ventilator.

Is this really bad news??
If it's as bad as it sounds, I could really use some prayers.

To me it sounds bad, but hey things can turn for the better, but I will diffanatly keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers.

Do you know if your friend is listed for a lung transplant? Sounds like that is what she needs and she would be right at the top of the list and might get lungs quite fast.

She is in my thoughts.

It does indeed not sound good. Not knowing her overall history its hard to truly say. Joanne is right in asking about the transplant.....either way she & you are in my prayers & thoughts!
