Can Tobi Be Frozen?

This sounds just like dear abby or ann landers, but here I go....

Last night we stopped at the pharmacy to pick up a script for DH and because we were going on to the Mall and it was stinkin' cold (-10 F -- not windchill) outside, I said "if they try to give you ds' tobi, we should probably leave it until tomorrow. I don't want it to freeze".

So DH, didn't think it was an issue because Tobi is delivered in ice packs. But I argued that it probably couldn't be frozen. It wasn't ready anyway, but who is right? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Sorry, I had to laugh at this...

I am soooooooooo glad that I am not the only one who has these kind of issues. Makes me feel a little normal, lol.

The packaging says to keep refrigerated, and store between 36 & 46 degrees. Here's something interesting I didn't know though, you can store Tobi (opened or unopened foil packs) at room temperature (77 degrees or below) for up to 28 days. But keep out of intense light. It says it may turn yellow, but color does not matter as long as it is not cloudy. Wow, I don't have to be so anal about them leaving the pack on the counter!!!

It does not specifically say to throw the Tobi out if it becomes frozen, but I would err on the side of caution there.

Thanks, your question helped me learn something!
