CAN YA'LL PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME

This is just a stab in the dark, but TOBI made me respressively SOB and also congested. I finally had to stop using it because my quality of life while on TOBI was just not worth any benefits it may have offered. It was so bad that I was having to stop to take breaths after approx every 3-4 words when I spoke.

Is she on TOBI or any other inhaled meds that may be causing this?

I agree with Lynda, sometimes the medications can make you SOB.. TObi makes me SOB and so does Advair.. Advair so much so that I stopped taking it.. Just not worth it to me.....

Hope she feels better soon

Right there. I was thinking this earlier, but didn't post it. There is a good chance that something non typical to her history is going on in her lungs (microbial/fungal wise). I'd like to hear what a very recent culture shows. It sounds like there is an organism there making her do this.

i agree with alyssa. im on the ABPA boat and got almost 6 months of sporonox (a steriod) for it. but it did help a LOT. i'm off it now, but june has a record of being really bad with the ABPA. let us know what happens!
