Thank you all so much!!

I have a few questions.

You tried her on pharmanac yet seana?

What is a pharmanac?

Could you further explain to me what aspergillus growth is?

Courtney sees her CF doc tomorrow and we should get the results of her culture.

Thank you all for the advice!!!!!

Seana-my PFT's are about where your daughters are and a drop like that (~15%) is significant and can make her feel really crummy. If my PFT's are 95% and I feel fine then for me there is no cause for concern since I have such a large issue with allergies ABPA etc however if I feel sick and am 95% my docs would not hesitate to throw me on abx or IV's depending on scenario. to test for ABPA they would take a blood sample and test IGE level in her blood. Hopefully she does not have it, its a bear.

Sounds like you are doing all right things, make sure she is doing albuterol (I prefer xopenex)2-4x daily in addition to all her regular stuff to stay nice and open so she can get it out. Once they culture resutls come back they can treat her with appropriate abx and then just to make sure check IGE's since this can get missed alot.

Oh and most importantly getting super hydrated could help thin everthing out enough to get it up, for me 10-12 glasses water a day with no caffeine is a must.

tkae care and best of luck
