Can you add pediasure to g-tube

As others have said, yes Pediasure is something you can put in the g-tube. A lot of older kids do Pediasure at night for their enteral feeds.Is there a reason why they want Peptamin at night and Pediasure during the day though - I would think your insurance would not pay for both since they are pretty much the same thing - although I have never tasted Peptamin, maybe it doesn't taste good?

My daughter takes 3 pediasure a day. 2 go through the feeding tube while she sleeps and 1 she drinks orally. If she doesn't finish it, I just put the rest in the bag with the other two for her overnight feed. It is a huge relief to know that they are getting all the calories they should.
