The IWK is actually a top-notch hospital. It's in Halifax and it's where I was diagnosed. I received the most amazing care there. I'm kinda shocked that your friend is having so much trouble. I really can't say enough about the IWK and there competency.

Paula Barett is awesome, give her a call and she'll take care of it.

The Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is a brilliant hospital. Thats where my twins were diagnosed, the newborn screening is also done there.
