The doctor called on Friday and said my WBC white blood cell count was low. Then said that my RBC red blood cell count was also low and so was my platelets. Also I have a lump growing in and on my overens. Still spilling ketones and have gone down 15 pounds in less then a week. I asked him why I am spilling ketones and he said it was normal becuase of the vomiting?! So I am like just any normal women with no illness would spill ketones when vomiting? I was like what the? Then he said it is normal to have all my blood cells off. and that I DO NOT HAVE AN INFECTION. I am like well alright then!
I was very unhappy with how this doctor had no worrys about any of this. So that night I was still vomiting so I called the inturnest on call who happened to not be my doctor. I told him about the blood counts and how they where all low. I told him about my lump on and about the ketones. He told me none of that is normal. First doctor that was worred about any of this. He asked me if I have Lukemia I was in shock! I then asked him why? He said becuase I am looking at your blood work here and I see this lump on the CT and this is Lukemia. I am like well then what should I do about it then?
Well you could go back to the ER or call your doctor tomorrow. So someone tells me why I am sick tells me that the lump as gotton into my blood system and that I have Lukemia! Thank god someone is telling me what wrong with me this doctor on call also told me that my IgG's are off becuase my body is trying to fight it. Then he asked me how I was feeling I told him about the way my eyes have been going all over the place I told him how they have been wondering. He things it's all becuase the cancer has gotton into my system and causeing issues with my brain. I am so mad why did my other doctor not tell me that this was cancer why did he say having low blood counts is noraml.
Well this week I will be going to Oncogy (cancer doctor) to see what they can do. P.S. people with cancers can have issues with there digestive system like people with CF do people with cancer can also have some breathing issues due to Anemia. I am so upset that this was not found sooner!
