Cepacia transplant desperately needed

My dear friend John Goodlad.. one of the most amazing people that I was ever graced with in my life, who died almost a year ago in to soon of a time... fought with all of his might and WON with the University of MN to take on Cepacia patients for transplant.

John, unfortunantly, was sucessfully transplanted with Cepacia, but never survived the aftermath, he pathed the way for my friend Rich also with Cepacia to get a transplant at the University of MN, again unsuccessful.

I know at the time which was for John almost a year, and for Rich less then five months, they were only transplanting their own Cepacia patients and were not taking on patients that were not already being seen at the clinic.

I honestly don't know where they stand now, but I would love to see someone get a transplant with Cepacia and do well... I know of one man on here Greg who did get a transplant in Indianna, ( I think it was there) I remember looking into it with John

I didn't mean to be down on transplants with Cepacia, and I am not down on them, I am glad you are doing research, and maybe by the time your child is ready for one they will have made even more advances in transplants with Cepacia....

My prayer is to see the bug killed dead .. I know someday when I get to Heaven I am going to stomp on it with all of my might...
