Lauren that it an awesome article. Thanks for the info.</end quote></div>

Glad I could be of help!

Here's another "yucky bug" article. This one is about how TOBI is used to fight PA.

Thanks for the article. I, too, had no idea there was such a wide variety in the strains of cepacia. I didn't know you had it either!

Erinzbiz, I think you also touched on a nerve for some people, because of the lack of knowledge surrounding cepacia. Since cepacia patients are generally not allowed to go to most CF events, I think there is almost a stigma attached to having it; sure, other bugs can be bad, but cepacia is seen almost like a death sentence. People avoid it like the plague so to speak. Some strains ARE that bad, but like a lot of you guys on the forum have shown, there are other strains that people live with relatively fine. (Well, as fine as we can live with lung infections, anyway <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">)

Here's to hoping they come up with some antibiotics that can treat the more harmful strains. <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
