I also culture strain 2 (Multivorans) for about the last three years (had never been tested properly for it before then so we are not sure exactly when i got it). FEV1 around 52%.

Cory has culture Cepacia for the last 5 years
He has Genomovar III (Cenocepacia)
His FEV1 is currently around 22%. That is 1 week out of the hospital and still on IV's
Going for transplant evaluation on Set. 2nd

I just started culturing B. Cepacia this year. A few months ago the dr told me that it is now pan-resistant and became that way in one months time.
My FEV1 is 50-ish, this stuff is kicking my butt at the moment!

I have multivorans....have had it for about 28 years!!! My fev has been lousy lately....about 35. My cepacia was sensitive to bactrim....which i am allergic to. I was just desensitized to bactrim during my last cleanout, stayed on it for about 5 weeks, and, lo and behold....the damned cepacia isn't sensitive to it anymore. Go figure!!!
