CF and Athletics

Hi every one. My name is Nolan and I am a 21 year old male with CF. I am posting this message to see if there is anyone else out there like myself. I have played sports all my life and excelled past the point of recreational athletics. I am a junior at Anderson College where I am currently in the middle of my third basketball season here. I dont want this post to come over as being boastful but I would really like to know who else is out there. I played in high school and was recruited to play basketball in college. I would love to talk with anyone who is intrested in this topic and anyone who is involved in competitive athletics themselves. Hey Nolan..I'm 23/f/wcf and even though I can't relate to playing sports like I used to, I want to give you a website/chat room just for CF people. Hi Nolan,I am 25w/CF. I also love sports and played in High School. I played tennis for 4 years and had a scholarship to Coker College in Hartsville, SC but chose USC instead without a scholarship. I got diagnosed with CF when I was 18, so my case is a little different. Although I did not know I had CF until later in life, I am still able to function as though I am "normal." I teach 1st grade in SC. I am healthy and happy. Kudos to you for continuing to fulfill your dream of basketball and having the ability to play. I would love to talk to you more. Hi, I am a 23yr old with CF and I live in N.Y. I played basketball for 6yrs and got offered a scholorship to St.Johns but did not except it due to my health at the time.
