other than the typical get hit by run-away tractor, or slip in a pile of horse poo and break your neck, no. i'm around livestock a lot and it doesn't bother me and crops aren't a problem unless you're allergic to them, i don't think there is anything to worry about

All my life I have spent much time on farms. Between my bros & neighbors I was always on them. Riding horses, shoveling *****, bailing hay or running after pigs. I did have problems in the haymound itself. Probably allergic reaction with no real ventalation. Otherwise I was fine & enjoyed every bit of it.

Taking precautions as you should no matter where you are is your best bet. Washing hands is first priority!

I grew up on a dairy farm. Amazingly enough, I didn't have more severe lung involvement than I did.

The only things to be careful about is the dust from the hay, and animal feces. Take along a hand sanitizer and your rescue med inhaler and you should be fine. If you have allergic rhinitis (aka hay fever) you might want to take some claritin or allegra before you visit just to keep your allergies from flaring up.

Other than that, have fun!
