CF and Paleness?

So the tanning thread made me wonder. I've always been extremely pale, and will turn almost completely red if I'm out in the sun for more than an hour (even with sunscreen). Is this common with CF, a side effect at all, or just my own weird thing?

My boys are half Italian and tan beautifully even though they have light skin most of the year.

Many CFers might look pale because they are either underweight, unwell or have vitamin deficiencies, but I don't think it is a standard CF thing.

My daughter who is 15 looks like the walking dead most of the time. We are talking very pale. If she goes in the sun she is red within minutes. She stays out of the sun because her skin does strange things. It could be from all the meds.

Cheryl mom to Malora 15 w/CF
