CF Coverage - US or Canada?

Hi,

My wife and I are US citizens and I work for a Canadian based company (in Vancouver). My wife is 31 and has CF. I have an opportunity to work in the US or in Vancouver and was wondering if anyone had any experience w/ both insurance coverage and medical coverage in both countries.

We live in California and have 100% coverage and medical support is very good.

If you had CF and could live in the US or Canada which would you choose (tax stuff & US$ vs CAN$ stuff aside).

Hey,
I am living in Ont right now but am from New Brunswick. I don't know about the US but in Canada it depends on the province as to what will be covered. Right now I am on the NB drug plan which means I have to pay a max of $20 per perscription and they pay the rest. But I also have CFRD and they don't pay for the supplies so I have to pay $100 at least a month in strips. You would just have to look at what each plan and area covers including hospital visits and see which would work out better.
