CF event in Milwaukee WI

I was checking out Milwaukee WI events and found this CF event....
a beer tasting fundraiser my kind of event.  It is at the

You betcha! Just got the info today and made arrangements for the theater company I belong to to be a sponsor. I'll also get a group of friends and neighbors together to attend. Sounds like fun!

Those in the Milwaukee area should also know about the CFF Gala being held this month. Sept. 23. Very fancy shindig with a progressive dinner, I believe, at some of Milwaukee's finest eating and drinking (of course) establishments. Live and silent auctions with some very cool prizes. I can't make this one - aforementioned theater company has a gig - but our very own BigBee is on the organizing committee for the event.

Oh! There is also a tent event at the Porterhouse Restaurant this weekend. The Porterhouse website has details. Sorry no links. I'm not tecnologically advanced.

And wait, there's more! On Sept. 25 there are not one, but TWO separate gold outings to benefit CFF. There's the BIG one at Ozaukee Country Club with all the celebs which costs big coin to enter and the "everyman's" version at Fire Ridge in Grafton (Very nice course, I'm told!!!) which is sponsored by the Brown Deer police department. I can get info for anyone interested in either event. Just PM or e-mail me.

You'd think I work for the local CFF chapter, wouldn't you? HAHAHA

Live83...you seem to be a new poster - Welcome! PM me if you want to talk about local stuff or share our cf "histories!"

Live83 - The beer tasting is a great event and I will be there. I can get an invitation sent to you if you would like to PM me with your address.

To reiterate what Tami said above, the Gala is September 23rd - a wonderful, very fun event. If anyone is interested in information, please let me know. There is still a week or so to get a ticket!!

What is the Gala? and how much are tickets for that event? I was planning on calling for tickets and what not to the zoo beer tasting probably next week when i know how many friends i have going and what not.

As far as being a new poster that i am.....so nice to meet u all! A little info about me is i am 23 yr old male, in school for Computer electronics and electronic technology and also work as an Audio Video Tech.....as far as my cf goes my pft's are not great im running around 30 to 35 percent lung function i think it was last time i was in and im about 5'6 125...would love to gain about 40 pounds but it is what it is!
