CF Fundraiser

Now I know we all donate and such to our own thingies, so I won't be offended if no one here donates to this specific event. However, I still have to attempt to pimp it just a bit. Mike's dad did the Seacoast Safari last summer (150 miles in 2 days in Massachusetts and Maine). He's doing it again this summer, with Mike's younger brother Ryan. Louise (Mike's mom) set up a website where you can donate directly.

If no one can donate, or donates to their own event, at least check out the page, because it's cute. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Emily,

HOW LUCKY YOU ARE! Your soon to be in-laws seem like WONDERFUL people. I visited the site and was so touched!

My daughter has really broke us this month with cheerleading. We had to make a $600 payment this month!

I donated $10, but hopefully will be able to donate more next month!!!!

Emily,

Your in-laws really touched me!!! I can not even get my own mother, father, brothers, sisters to understand, or even want to try to understand what CF is and what we go thru on a daily basis.

You are very lucky to have such understanding, helpful in-laws! Please tell them I wish them the best with the fundraising!

Emily, Ive never heard of this. I live in Massachusetts, so it seems like something people around here should know. How do they advertise?

How fortunate you are to have the support of your future family! Good luck!

It's only a few years old, fairly new:
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.jeknavorian.com/cf/index.html
">http://www.jeknavorian.com/cf/index.html
</a>

And on CFF's site:
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cff.org/Chapters/newengland/index.cfm?ID=6342&blnShowBack=False&idContentType=1589">http://www.cff.org/Chapters/ne...lse&idContentType=1589</a>

My future father-in-law is a real "go-getter" so when he does something, he REALLY does it. When he decided he wanted to do a CF fundraiser, he decided on a 150 mile ride in 2 days. Hah.

Emily, it is so incredible that they do this for you and CF!!!! I have to lay a guilt trip to get mark's own parents to participate in the CF walks... You are SOOOO lucky!

I can't donate at this time, I hope you can understand, but I am going to pass this website onto my email list.
