cf infants and attachment/bonding problems

I almost ashamed to say this is the first I've heard of it. As I mentioned in my 'in a nutshell' post, my participation is this forum is really my first attempt at getting in touch with other people with cf.

I'm a WSU grad, too, class of '91.

Is there a way to search for forum members by location?

thanks for all the replies- I'm just kind of following up on a theory about myself and looking for evidence to either support or refute it.

I've never been particularily "attached" to my parents - that isn't to say we don't have a decent relationship and I love them both very much, but I never felt I "needed" them - I always thought maybe it was pysychological damage from a nasty divorce when I was young, thgough they do say I was never a cuddly baby....but I suppose CF could have played a role - as I hear it, my first six weeks of life - pre dx - were pretty miserable.

i'd say that for me it was fine when i was younger, but as of lately it has gotten worse.
