CF Parents with CF Children

I wonder if there is anyoen out there, I mean I am sure there is.

I think how unfair it would be to all involved parties, the child woud probably pick up PA etc faster since paretn has it and then the parent that doesnt have it, what a burden upon them to watch their family suffer and most likely die and be left there all alone.

There is a lady from another CF forum that has CF. She married a man with CF & they had a child with CF. I am not 100% sure if the child was theirs together or hers from another relationship.

The husband had a tx & passed away shortly after. I dont know how she & the kid are doing because I havent been on that forum in quite some time, but it was definitely more difficult.

IMHO it was crazy to create a situation as theirs, but thats why it was them & not me!

Hi there. You sound like you're taking the responsible approach. If you haven't done so already, check out the thread about CFers and pregnancy, and all that needs to be in place for it to proceed well.

No matter what decisions you make, I'm confident you'll find people on this forum to rally around you and help you deal with whatever happens.

All the best,
Lauren
