CF screening question.

Hi everyone I hope this finds you all well. I have CF and my boyfriend would like to get tested to see if he is a carrier. The only problem is he has NO INSURANCE and I was just wondering if any of you guys have been through a similiar situation. Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions or will he just have to pay all that money.

I have seen that CF is one of the diseases you can now test through the mail. It's still a lot of money--I think it's around $240, but is done privately without it being added to your medical records.
The article I saw appeared in Good Housekeeping magazine.
