CF Telethon

Tonight I will be on our local news station's 30th Annual CF Telethon. It is the only CF Telethon in our state. It will take me two hours to get there but I will be giving an interview and sing a song.

As of right now they have raised $52,000. It's a 12 hour telethon (noon to midnight). It is organized by the CFF and the local news station. There isn't a toll free phone number but if anyone up here wants to call and make a pledge the phone number is 252-633-4511 (it is to New Bern, NC...so long distant charges will apply if you call this number and are not local). You can give a pledge in honor or memory of someone if you like, just tell them, but it's not required. You can give as little as $1 or as much as you want. Your donation is tax deductable too. The money raised goes towards CF Research and to find a cure for CF. Just wanted to give this information out incase someone was interested in pledging.

Wish me luck! I will be back tonight or tomorrow to give an update on how much was raised.
