thanks for the great tips. really-i meant it, i appreciate it.
you keep me motivated to really commit to this.
i've said it before-but my motivation is based on improving stamina and lung function...and what i see is that many of the cfers that are living the longest and most active lives are runners.
i am running on a treadmill. i find that my breathing isn't the biggest obstacle-its that my shins get so sore!! i will try the stretching before. i haven't been doing that. my breathing gets going and i cough, but i guess thats expected.
i will google couch 5k-great tip. i'm very interested.
my problem w all this is that our treadmill is in the basement, and since we are starting a remodel in 3 weeks we've been tearing things up slowly in the house. well, we removed furniture and trim from the basement and found tons of black mold growing down there!! so bad. so i feel like i don't want to go down there till we move. (we are moving out to a small rental for the duration of the project) i can't do a gym, i just can't work out a baby sitter for that just yet. its still too cold for me to be outside. i have bad reactive airways.
so squeezing this into my lifestyle has some obstacles but i'm working on it.
