Yesterday there was a Cycling CF event. People had to pay up to $50 to register. An email was then sent to those who registered that they had to raise $200 or their credit card would be charged. Really? So many people were put off by that, so they opted out and I dont blame them. Is that typical for charities? I've done a lot of fundraising in the past for diffferent charities and was never told that I had to raise a certain amount...I think it is poor taste for the CFF. Our team raises so much at Great Strides time, over $40,000, with no help from the CFF. It is getting quite difficult for me to keep asking people to raise more and more money especially when they get quotas.<div><br></div><div>Megan</div>
