One last question about your CF docs

I have not experienced anything like this, but if you think that perhaps your previous experiences are causing you to perceive things differently or that maybe you are being to sensitive to his comments, and you don't want to leave that clinic, then my only thought would be can you take a really good friend or relative (who knows you and your CF issues well) with you to your next couple of appointments? Maybe they could shed some light on his interactions with you -- seems like they could say to you either "Oh my gosh, do not ever see that man again!" or they might say "I don't think he meant that statement quite the way you were interpreting it"

One last question about your CF docs

There is a possibility that this man is not a people person and is very moody. Perhaps he has his own problems. IF he is doing a great job with your health then be happy. If he is not calling you back or taking responsibility then go seek out another doctor. I have been to many CF doctors where I live and most of them are great but some are just better.

Sounds to me that your social worker knows something and that is why she had you confront him. That is a great experience to let off steam.

I learned if you do not like someone in the medical field and if they are doing their job correctly then fake it to you make it. Make believe you really like him and evenutally you will. Just something that I do. I did this in the ICU when I had nurses who I did not like and at the end of my stay I loved them all.

I hope it gets better for you. I would concentrate on your great lung function
