Changing medicines

I was just thinking that I wonder if I would benefit from changing up my neb meds and oral meds to see if I would get a better outcome. I have been on the same routine for years and I am wondering if changing things up would have a greater effect. Kinda like the idea of not working out the same muscle with the same workout all the time. YOu have to change things up when weight lifting in order to make real progess. Do you think that might hold true for CF meds/therapies etc.

Yep i sure do. Using the same ol' routine your bugs get used to it and you dont get as much benefit, as well as beconing resistant. CHange it up once in a while and you show it a new set of tricks. I am always up for something different. Sinve i am always on antibiotics i have to constantly rotate them every so many weeks so i dont get too resistant to the one combo. When i was on iv's this last round i asked my Dr. 4 weeks into it, to switch 2 of the three iv antibiotics and they made a difference in my recovery. I never like to stay on the same thing too long because they dont ever seem to wor as well after a while.
