Chat for bereaved parents/spouces/friends etc.

Is there anyway that we would be able to have a special chat forum just for grieving families/loved ones etc. It is nice to be able to chat to others with cf but our needs to chat are quite a lot different. It has helped me tremendously over this past year, to be able to correspond with others in the same situation as myself, losing a child, but to have a chat room to go to would be even better.

Under the TOPIC Specific categories, there is one called Remembering. That topic was designed for such discussions. Unfortunately, I don't see too much activity on it. Have you ever thought of just creating a topic on the Adults forum for it? Honestly, you are going to get the most looks and discussions of others in your shoes that way.

I have noticed that the remembering section has been very quiet lately also. I was thinking of specifically a chat for the remembering section. Does that mean the chat on the remembering page would indicate chat to that topic specifically?

I think you should just set up a time and tell all that would like to discuss that topic you will meet them in chat (example..every Thursday night 8 pm central time).

It might take awhile to get a group going, but it is worth a try!

I think setting up a time is good, although i do think it may just be you and I at first. I'll try my utmost to be there, though
