Chest Pain...

Do you have your gallbladder? Have you ever had panceratitis? I'd check with your doctor again- mine missed a gallstone in my common bile duct for 15 years- after I had my gallbladder out. Even when I mentioned the possiblity myself. Nor did they check me for panceratitis, despite my repeated complaints of extreme stomachaches that came and went. The adult clinic decided to do an ultrasound and then a catscan? (something like that, with the dye) during a hospitalization, and low and behold, I had both. Don't give up, don't take "we don't know-try more enzymes" for an answer. Let us know how you are doing!

I think you have the same pains that I do. I've had these as long as I can remember, it just seems to go in cycles & luckily, it doesn't happen that much.
They are sharp, stabbing pains under my rib cage. Sometimes when I get them, I can't move because they get worse when I move and I almost feel like I'm paralyzed or something for a few seconds. Does this sound like what you're experiencing?

Funny you should mention this, because the last couple of days, I've experienced these too. I also have bloating at the same time that I have the pains.

In my case, I feel that they are gas pains. Let's just say that Gas-X has been a good friend of mine the last few days.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
If your doctors can't seem to find anything else...I might venture to say it's gas.

Let us know what you find out!

That's EXACTLY how I feel..but it's been happening since Saturday evening tho, since I'm kina thinkin it's not gas. The other thing is, I'm always bloated, since I can remember I've benn bloated, and yet again CF docs don't know why. Yesterday the pain was shooting all the way around my back!
So we'll see tomorrow what happens....
