Chest Pain...

Soooooooo after spending 3 hrs in the ER...ALL my blood work, x-rays, etc where negative....they all came back fine, I am in da clear. So now the CF doc thinks that I may have a "Bacterial Ulcer"...anyone heard of this? If the blood work for this comes back negative (I'll know in a few days) then I'm off to see a tummy doctor which includes getting scoped...
So I've never heard of a bacterial ulcer b4.....Has anyone?
My pancrease and liver a great...NO worries there!

Ok I am going through this right now actually. I have pain under my left rib cage most times after I eat, I am always full and some times I am just in some crazy pain. My GI Doc thought it could slow emptying stomach (gastropresis) which would cause these symptoms. I had a test done and it was borderline..so he thinks it still may be Gastropresis but wants to make sure there isn't an ulcer in my stomach or I have bacterial overgrowth..So on Tuesday I am heading in for an endoscopy of my upper half...had the colonoscopy last week. In Sept I am having a Hydrogen Glucose test to see again if I have too much bacteria in my stomach.

Are you seeing a GI doc? I'll let you know how my scope goes on Tuesday. Hang in there and I'm glad your pancreas and liver are sweet.
