She is culturing staphylococcus pneumonia. They didnt tell me anything other than that over the phone. They are supposed to call me on Friday to let me know if the antibiotic she is on now is ok. She is on Augmentin.

Debbie, sorry you're having such a tough time. A Staph. infection should respond to Augmentin. The pathologist would have checked which antibiotics will be sensitive to the culture. However Staphylococcus can become difficult for someone with CF to get rid of, so if you're worried, talk to the doctor. I don't know if you have the same problem there, but our doctors get so busy that they forget to call so we usually call them.
