Chiropractic Care

I have been going to a chiropractor since I moved to Florida in 1980. I think all Chiropractors are good with all the various types of techniques they practice.

An activator is an instrument that can adjust you and every chiro has one. I prefer an activator treatment vs tradional manipulation because it has less of an impact on the body. I also have had maual adjustments which work great. It all depends on the chiro's touch. Some are aggressive and others are not.

The best kind of Chiro that I would go to is one that practices kinesiology. Just my experience.

Since you have adrenal issues, I bet you would greatly benefit from acupuncture or acupressure treatments. They would help to balance out your adrenal glands.

When I was weaning off steroids eight years ago, I had had a chiro help me boost up my adrenal glands by a vitamin that contained raw adrenal gland. If you are interested, I can find it on the net. The reason why I went this route was there was no guarantees if I would be able to stay off the pred so I wanted to get as strong internally as possible. It worked, I was able to stay off pred for over five years. Then after my second transplant, I no longer have to take prednisone. That is another story

when I was on prednisone, I did get mild back adjustments but i told them to be very gentle.

I definitely feel there is a benefit to go for treatments and if they have a massage therapist on staff all the better.

I get a free massage through my insurance along with adjustments. I had a mild car accident last year. I cannot say no to a free massage.

Massage seems to help me as well. I haven't chiro in years but I've been getting weekly massages for the last 5 weeks or so. It seems to loosen the secretions in my lungs and it just makes me feel better in general.

If you go to youtube.com

type in the search bar Chiropractor VERY interesting. There are exercises to do and listen to a whole lot more.

Then type in Dorn-method. Very Cool stuff
